Summer Heat

Luckily for the most part we get to sell from our shop which usually sits around 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This is good for us and our products! The soap can handle the heat but our other products can suffer. Whipped butters, scrubs and masks can all melt and deflate in the heat. When traveling in a large van it doesn't take much for it to get warm.
We do our best to check all of the products and have made changes to our recipes to make sure they hold up better in the ever changing environment of the shows. Our candle products also melt in direct sunlight, because one of the things that makes soy wax great is that it burns cooler than other waxes. When we are at a hot or even just sunny show we have to make sure our candles are in the shade.
We will be attending at least two shows in the heart of the summer heat, Lavender Fest and Greene. Depending on the weather some of our products might have to stay at the shop. As always if you know you want something and will be there let us know and we will pull it for you ahead of time.
